We are #1 in neurosurgery research funding from the NIH. Our research program covers a broad variety of basic, clinical, and translational research topics reflecting the full range of clinical and surgical activity in the department. Research has always played a key role in shaping our clinical practice, and we recognize the importance of collaborations between physicians and scientists.
