UCSF Neurosurgery at AANS 2026

Leading neurosurgery experts from UC San Francisco are presenting their latest research and clinical findings at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) Annual Scientific Meeting, which will be held May 1-4 in San Antonio, Texas. The theme for the conference is Neurosurgery Frontiers: Innovation, Collaboration, Transformation.

UCSF neurosurgeon John Yue, MD, will receive the William H. Sweet Young Investigator Award on Saturday, May 2, at 5:05 p.m during the Revisiting Craniofacial Stimulation session. This award recognizes his contributions to neurotrauma research.

Additionally, UCSF faculty and trainees will present talks and posters focusing on advances in the treatment of complex neurosurgical conditions, including brain tumors, epilepsy, and spinal disorders.
