Rishi Wadhwa MD

Rishi Wadhwa MDAssistant Clinical Professor of Neurological Surgery

Dr. Wadhwa specializes in complex and minimally invasive spinal surgery and has recently completed a fellowship in complex spinal disorders at UCSF. He practices at the UCSF Neurosurgery Specialty Care Clinic Marin. He is originally from Louisiana where he did his medical training and residency in neurological surgery. During his neurosurgical residency, Dr. Wadhwa completed additional training in neuromodulation and pain disorders, and has experience with spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal medication delivery systems.

In addition to spinal surgery, Dr. Wadhwa has expertise in treating chiari malformation, pain and spasticity, as well as expertise in general neurosurgery, including hydrocephalus and brain tumors.
